Peak Pickleball Agency

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 18, 2026

Peak Pickleball Agency operates our marketing website at peakpickleballagency.com and Summit, our collaborative platform at summit.peakpickleballagency.com. This policy explains how the company collects and handles personal information across both properties.

1. Who We Are and What This Covers

Peak Pickleball Agency operates two web properties under this policy: the marketing website (peakpickleballagency.com), which provides information about our representation services for athletes, brands, and facilities; and Summit (summit.peakpickleballagency.com), which offers community and social features (such as profiles, posts, comments, reactions, direct messages, groups, and events) and wholesale and commerce features.

2. Information We Collect

Account and identity information: Names, emails, profile images, and user identifiers come through Clerk authentication services and are stored in the database.

Social and community content: The platform captures posts, comments, reactions, direct messages, group memberships, event RSVPs, course enrollments, and engagement data.

Commerce information: Bookmarked products, cart items, orders, and billing contact information are collected. The company explicitly states it does not collect, store, or process your full payment card number, CVV, or banking credentials.

Uploaded files: Images and videos are stored through Vercel Blob; resulting URLs are saved in the database.

Feedback and support: Messages sent to support are collected and routed to GitHub for triage.

Marketing website contact: When you submit our contact form at peakpickleballagency.com or send email to info@peakpickleballagency.com, we collect the name, email, and message content you provide so we can respond to your inquiry.

Automatic information: Technical data including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and timestamps are automatically collected for security and product improvement.

Cookies and similar technologies: Session cookies enable authentication; local storage maintains UI preferences and install-prompt dismissals. The marketing website uses Google Tag Manager to load a small set of analytics and partner-referral tags — all governed by your consent choices. See Section 14 below for the full inventory and how to control it.

3. How We Use Information

The company uses collected information to provide services, authenticate users, detect fraud, deliver social features, facilitate orders, send notifications, measure engagement, respond to support requests, and comply with law.

4. Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)

Processing relies on contract performance, legitimate business interests, legal compliance, and consent where required.

5. How We Share Information

With other users: Posted content reaches selected audiences; names and profile images are visible to interaction partners.

With service providers: The platform uses Clerk, Neon, Vercel, Resend, Pusher, Intuit QuickBooks Online, GitHub, and Svix under contractual restrictions.

With buyers and sellers: Transaction parties receive information needed to complete orders.

For legal reasons and safety: The company may disclose information if required by law or necessary to prevent fraud.

Business transfers: Information may transfer during mergers or acquisitions while maintaining protection.

Data sales: The company does not sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising.

6. Data Retention

Personal information is retained while accounts are active. Account deletion removes user records and owned content where feasible. Order records may be retained longer for legal compliance; shared content may persist in backups and recipients ’ copies; audit logs are retained for security purposes.

7. Your Choices

Users can review account settings, adjust notification preferences, delete accounts, and control cookies through browser settings.

8. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and similar jurisdictions may request access, corrections, deletions, portability, opt-outs, and non-discrimination. Requests go to privacy@peakpickleballagency.com with account-associated email verification.

9. International Users

The service operates from the United States; personal information is processed and stored there, which may have different data-protection standards than users’ home countries.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and the company does not knowingly collect information from that age group.

11. Security

The company uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including TLS encryption and access controls, though it cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Links and Content

Third-party sites operate independently; the company is not responsible for their privacy practices.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Material changes are communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect.

14. Cookie inventory and consent

The marketing website uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) to load tags, Google Consent Mode v2 to gate them by category, and the open-source CookieConsent v3 library (MIT licence) to capture and remember your choices. We honor the Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an automatic decline of Analytics and Marketing cookies.

Three consent categories:

Strictly necessary: Required for the site to function (including the consent banner itself). Always on, cannot be disabled.

Analytics:Helps us understand how people find and use the site. Public label on the banner: “Help us measure site traffic.”

Marketing:Helps us credit the right places when visitors click out to a partner. Public label on the banner: “Help us measure partner referrals.”
