Zoey Weil

Zoey Weil is a professional pickleball player on the PPA Tour, competing in women's singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Originally from Columbus, Ohio and now based in Minneapolis, she brings an elite racket-sport background and a tall, aggressive game to the women's pro tour.

A Top-50 national tennis recruit out of high school, Weil played Division I tennis for five years — four at the University of Washington, where her team was ranked inside the top 10 nationally, followed by a graduate season at the University of Minnesota, where she earned a top-50 doubles ranking. That depth of competitive experience translated seamlessly when she picked up pickleball in 2023.

She rose quickly, racking up wins at prize-money tournaments around Minnesota before turning pro in 2024 and signing with the PPA Tour. Today she balances her playing career with her role as head pro at Pure Pickleball Club, where she coaches and shares her love of the game.

On court, Weil plays the kind of full-court mixed doubles that makes touring partners want to play with her — a career-high inside the top 30 in the world, and tracking up. Her game is built on shot tolerance and pace control: she uses her length and reach to set the floor of a rally, then steers it, mixing in creative, crafty shotmaking and a favorite weapon in her backhand flick.
