Biography
About Zach Gonnering.
Zach Gonnering is a professional pickleball player from Green Bay, Wisconsin, competing in singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles on the Carvana PPA Tour. He is represented by Peak Pickleball Agency.
He ran cross country and played basketball at Bay Port High School and had no racket-sport background. Pickleball arrived as an obstacle, nets going up over the courts he used, and his parents talked him into trying it.
He now trains four to six hours a day. NBC 26 reported him at No. 3 in Wisconsin and inside the top 20 nationally among men 23 and under, and Centerline Athletics signed him as a sponsored athlete.
His first PPA Tour main draws came in 2025, and he has since played 16 professional tournaments. He takes online classes toward a degree in sports business management around the travel.
