Biography
About Liz Truluck.
Liz Truluck is a professional pickleball player competing on the PPA Tour in women's singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.
A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, Liz Truluck comes from a tennis background. She played Division I tennis at Davidson College, where she captained the team and earned a degree in studio art. In the summer of 2022, while working as a tennis coach, she found pickleball and initially picked it up for fun. Liz soon fell in love with the quick pace of the game and its community. She played her first pro event at the PPA in May 2023. Less than six months later, she decided to play pickleball full-time. When not on the court, Liz loves to be in nature, paint, and practice yoga.
The 2025 MB Vietnam Cup is where the rest of the tour learned what the rest of the locker room already knew. Competing on PPA Tour Asia in October, Liz upset her way into the first singles final of her career before falling to Australia's Sahra Dennehy for the silver. Three months later she backed it up at home: at the Carvana PPA Masters in Palm Springs, she took bronze in women's singles with a signature win over Kaitlyn Christian, 11-0, 4-11, 11-3 — her first career PPA Tour medal on U.S. soil, and the one that put her firmly in the conversation.
