Ellie Tomkinson

Ellie Tomkinson is an English professional pickleball player and the 2025 English Nationals singles champion. She competes in singles and mixed doubles and is represented by Peak Pickleball Agency.

Tennis came first. She started at four and played until 2024, when she stopped to commit to pickleball full time. Her father had introduced her to the sport a year earlier.

She moved across England to one of Europe's largest pickleball centres, where she splits her days between coaching and playing. Her PPA Tour debut, in Italy, produced a top-eight singles finish and fifth place in mixed doubles.

The game is aggressive and built on the right side, though she is taking on more of the left. The signature shot is a two-handed backhand.
