Zane started his journey in tennis, where he quickly excelled to the top of the sport. He achieved many accolades with the racket, including many top national tournament finishes, being a top 10 recruit in the nation, and no.137 in the ITF world junior rankings.

Zane’s dedication to pickleball is clear, as he had to turn down multiple D1 college tennis offers in the decision to play professional pickleball. Using this dedication and drive, Zane has excelled and put himself right in there with the best competition in the world with only playing for a very short period of time.

Using his tennis background to his advantage mixed with a high court IQ has been a recipe for success on both the APP and PPA tours for Zane. The game plan now for Zane is to compete full time on both tours, and get to the very top of the world rankings. He also wants to become an inspiration and role model for young players aspiring to play professional pickleball one day.
